Roberts' creation raised eyebrows back in 2012 when he released a free, playable demo of its opening puzzle. Much of that original version still exists in the final Gorogoa, which starts out feeling like a successor to Myst. You see a hand-drawn boy studying at a desk, flipping through pages, until he pauses, awaiting your input. Aim your mouse until it turns from a cursor to a finger-shaped pointer, then click and prod the scene along.

Just as scheduled, Epic brought in two more games for everyone to claim this week. Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead and Ironcast are the latest titles to be made available as freebies, and they land as replacements to last week's The Spectrum Retreat.
Coming in as the latest entry in the lengthy line of themed Bridge Constructor games, this The Walking Dead-styled experience throws in a storyline featuring characters from the AMC series, the expected zombie hordes, as well as traps to neutralize said brain eaters in addition to the usual physics puzzles. Meanwhile, Ironcast is a turn-based roguelite with Match 3 puzzle elements. The title is set in an alternate 1880 Victorian England involving a war that has you making use of walking war machines.
The Steam Summer sale has gone back into hibernation, and it will be another six months until the store's next gigantic promotion. Still, the usual sales don't stop popping up even though you can expect some slowdowns in the coming weeks. If you still have an appetite for deals after the last couple of weeks, find our latest handpicked highlights list for this weekend below:
They are using ScummVM of course, albeit not a current version. They have reenabled subtitles + voices again in this modified version (which was disabled in ScummVM because of missing subtitles and synchronisation issues).
With deeply gratifying gameplay, beautiful animation and a soundtrack full of ambient, soothing sounds, Gorogoa will wholly capture your attention for at least a couple of hours. I played the iPhone version of the game, and while it might be nicer to see the visuals play out on a larger screen, I thought the mobile experience was nearly perfect given the ease of the touch controls.
The Apple App Store version is ideal for another reason: the price. You can download it for just $4.99, while the versions on Steam, Nintendo Switch and GOG retail for a steeper $14.99. I haven't played these other versions to say for certain, but given the brevity of the game, the App Store version seems like the best deal. But if you're really partial to one of the other platforms, this game is so good that it'll still be worth every penny.
The TV Edition version was launched for Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Released initially episodically, Kentucky Route Zero is a five-part adventure game known for its artistic vision for both its visuals and approach to game narrative.
I played A Link Between Worlds and thought it was OK. Nothing grabbed me though. The latest one is just Zelda Scrolls with breaking weapons, repetitive shrines and not much else to do except watch your stamina run out ridiculously fast as you climb or run. 2ff7e9595c
